Nativly exists to help websites reach a global audience. We take that mission seriously — and that means being straightforward about how this Service works, what we stand behind, and what we ask of you in return.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Nativly. They are written to protect both sides. By creating an account or connecting a website to Nativly, you agree to them.
If you ever have a question about something in here, or feel the Service has let you down, email us at support@nativly.app. We would rather talk than dispute.
Nativly is a website translation and localisation platform. It enables website owners ("Customers") to make their sites available in 60+ languages through two integration methods:
Nativly also provides visitor analytics, multilingual sitemap generation, and URL submission to Google to support your international SEO.
To use Nativly you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction, and the authority to embed scripts or modify DNS records on any website you connect. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have permission to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us at support@nativly.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. All activity under your account is your responsibility until you tell us otherwise.
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with full access to the Service and up to 5 languages — no payment method required during the trial. After the trial, a paid plan is required to continue serving translated content to your visitors.
Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically on the cycle you select (monthly or annual). By adding a payment method, you authorise us to charge it on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Nativly takes on a lot so you don't have to — translation, routing, sitemap generation, SEO indexing. In return, there are a few things only you can do on your side:
We see this as a partnership. If something on our side is causing a problem for your site, tell us — we want to fix it.
When you use the DNS proxy integration, visitor traffic to your configured subdomain or path is routed through Nativly's edge at proxy.nativly.co. Nativly serves translated pages to those visitors and passes all other requests through to your origin server, unchanged.
Your origin server and all of its content remain entirely under your control at all times. Nativly does not modify, store, or access your origin content beyond what is necessary to serve translations.
Availability. We build for high uptime and monitor our infrastructure continuously. That said, no service is immune to outages. We recommend keeping your origin site fully functional independently of Nativly — so that if we ever have a rough moment, your primary domain keeps working.
Translation quality is central to what Nativly delivers. We invest in accuracy across all 60+ supported languages and actively work to improve output over time. When you find something that doesn't read right, we want to know — that feedback directly informs how we improve.
Translation involves real complexity: idiom, context, tone, and domain-specific language all require judgement that continues to improve as the field advances. While Nativly works hard to deliver natural, accurate translations, we cannot guarantee that every translated phrase will be perfect in every context — and we think it would be dishonest to claim otherwise.
For most websites — marketing pages, SaaS products, e-commerce stores, editorial content, portfolios, and product descriptions — Nativly's output is production-ready. For content where even a small error could have real consequences, we encourage you to enable a review step before publishing, or to use Nativly in combination with a human review process. We are happy to advise on this if you reach out.
We are also building native human (Speaker) review directly into Nativly — so that in the future, you will be able to request a verified human review of your translated content without leaving the platform.
To the extent permitted by law, Nativly's liability for errors in translated content is limited to the remedies described in Section 10.
Nativly's infrastructure is shared by all Customers. To keep the platform fast and reliable for everyone, you agree not to:
If we believe a violation is occurring, we will try to contact you before taking action unless the situation is urgent. Serious or repeated violations may result in account suspension.
All software, infrastructure, brand assets, and technology comprising Nativly are owned by or licensed to us.
You retain full ownership of your website content. By connecting your site to Nativly, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, process, and translate your content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content or any translations derived from it. If you leave, your content is yours to take.
We want Nativly to be a reliable, high-quality service. When something goes wrong on our end, we take that seriously and will do what we reasonably can to make it right.
That said, these Terms need to reflect what is practically possible. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.
If you have a valid claim against Nativly, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 6 months preceding the claim. This reflects a genuine commitment: we stand behind the value you have paid for.
In plain terms: if Nativly causes you a loss, we will not hide behind fine print. We will work with you to understand what happened and make it right up to the amount you've paid us. What we cannot do is accept unlimited liability for outcomes we could not reasonably prevent or foresee.
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. On cancellation, your translated URLs will stop being served by Nativly at the end of your billing period. We recommend removing or updating your DNS CNAME records and script tags at that point to avoid any disruption for your visitors.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees after a reasonable notice period, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give you notice where possible. Provisions covering intellectual property, translation quality, liability, and this clause survive termination.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email and via a dashboard notice at least 14 days before they take effect. We will always explain what changed and why. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Questions, concerns, or feedback on these Terms — we genuinely want to hear from you:
